How To Export Data In Odoo

STEP 1
 

Log onto the test database on server 41.223.33.6:8269.
with your given details.

STEP 2
 

To Export the data, first go to Sales on the navigation bar
at the top of the window.

STEP 3
 

Select the Customers from the side menu
to display your customers and ensure that you are in the list view.

STEP 4
 

To export the data, select all the customers by using the check box next to
“NAME” which will automatically do this for you.

STEP 5
 

Then click on the More dropdown menu above, and select Export.

STEP 6
 

The Export Data window will appear and should
look like something like this.

STEP 7
 

Add and remove the required fields from the list on the left,
by using the appropriate button in the middle
(as indicated in the figure above).
The selected fields will display in the list on the right.

In the Export Type dropdown menu you must select Export all Data.

STEP 9
 

From the Export Formats, you can select either CSV file or Excel file.
To keep things simple, please use the Excel format only.

STEP 10
 

Next you can click on Export to File
to export the data into your Excel document.

You can save the fields once you are happy that these are the fields
that you require (Export to view and check in Excel).
You will then be able to manage your saved field list/s
by adding different fields or deleting them for later exports.
Remember to Save any changes you have made
to a previously saved list as a new list.

Once exported, your data should be saved to the
Downloads folder on your computer.
